All visitors to the Republic of Korea are required to present a valid passport. However, citizens from many countries may travel to the Republic of Korea without a visa.

entry and '90 days or less' as the length of stay.

K-ETA (Korea Electronic Travel Authorization)

Except where current exemptions are in effect, nationals of countries/regions eligible for visa-free entry are required to obtain K-ETA approval to board the flight bound for the Republic of Korea.

K-ETA approval should be applied at least 72 hours prior to boarding the flight.

Regarding Invitation Letters to Attend IBC 2026

Tips for Invitation Letter

  • We would like to inform you that the IBO will be pleased to provide an official invitation letter to those who need it for a Visa application to enter the Republic of Korea. 
  • The Letter is not a commitment on the part of the organizer to provide any financial support. This request will be processed as a part of the online registration system and included in your registration confirmation email.  
  • The official invitation letter, to be used for application of visa, will be available ONLY to those who have completed the registration and submitted payment.
  • Please contact our office regarding any special Visa needs. However, we ask that you first review the Visa instructions available through the Korean government website before contacting us.
